Living Donor Search

Hi there. I’m Jonathan and battling end stage renal disease. I’m looking for a living kidney donor.

My name is Jonathan Gruszka. I’m 42 and battling end stage renal failure. I’ve been a type 1 diabetic since I was 8, and cannot remember a time in my life where diabetes hasn’t been a part of it.

I have been married since 2024 to my wonderful husband, and have two dogs - Charlie and Robbie. I have many nieces and nephews, and love seeing them grow. My family is “my why” - they drive me to be the best I can be, so I be a part of their best life.

I work for a bank where I manage a team of talented associates who spend their days helping their client’s along their financial journey. I had worked for a telecommunications company for 20 years where I had similar experience. In all these places, I have loved to meet new people, and help them where I can.

I am currently on a waiting list for a kidney. A living donor would dramatically reduce the many-years long wait to receive one, as well as have a higher likelihood of success.
